What is the district’s discipline philosophy?

At Eloy ESD, we believe that no student has the right to interfere with the learning process of another student. If a student prevents the teacher from teaching and other students from learning, the teacher will exercise firm disciplinary action. We also believe that open communication among parents, teachers, and students will increase the success, happiness, and satisfaction of all. The school and home should provide both positive consequences for positive actions and negative consequences for negative actions.

What is the dress code for Eloy Elementary School District schools?

Students should dress for learning in a way that shows respect for themselves, for others, and for the school. Students may not wear clothing that distracts from the learning environment. We do not allow clothing that exposes the midriff or that promotes drug- or gang-related activity. Primary students must wear close-toed shoes, and all shorts and skirts must pass the fingertip-length test. If you are unsure about a particular item of clothing, please ask at the school office. We require students to change clothes if they arrive at school wearing inappropriate clothing.
